WHERE IS MY HABITAT?
On a rainy winter morning, I observed an unexpected visitor peeking through my window glass. It was a vividly coloured parrot, never so close before. The window glass separated us by a few inches, and I felt compelled to listen to her message and pay attention to her plight.
The parrot was soaked in the rain, her vibrant skin, hair, and feathers glistening under the raindrops. She appeared distressed, as the surrounding nature was barren. Trees were stripped of their leaves, and rain washed away the meagre food sources left for her, such as fruits and seeds during this season.
In her eyes, I saw the question: “Where is my habitat, food, livelihood, and my sustainable way of living?”
I felt a sense of shame for the actions of humans towards these fellow living creatures. Our selfishness and greed had led us to encroach upon their habitats, making their lives unsustainable.
As I watched her, I couldn’t help but wonder if there was a connection between her and a human. It seemed as though she was expressing love for a human. After some time, her lovebird arrived, and they both flew away, hopefully finding food and shelter in the hostile environment of the rainy winter season. I prayed for their well-being and resolved to work towards developing smart sustainable design systems that promote harmony between humans and nature.
This incident served as a vindication for my work on smart sustainable design systems, sDESIGN SYSTEM sdesignliving.com. It encompasses all aspects of human life, from sHUMAN to sWORLD (sHUMAN, sHOME, sBUSINESS, sINDUSTRY, sENERGY, sBUILDING, sTRANSPORT, sWASTE, sWATER, sHEALTH, .. sCITY, sSTATE, sCOUNTRY to sWORLD), aiming to achieve a smart sustainable world.
My intuition was correct in sDESIGN SYSTEM. Was nature acknowledging my work? Was it a message to spread the message of nature, preserve it, and ensure that all living beings coexist harmoniously with nature?
Nature has its own unique way of communicating, and we must observe and listen to its messages. Each and every individual has a role to play in this universe. When nature provides us with essential resources like food, water, and shelter, we must acknowledge our responsibility to live in harmony with nature and preserve its design.
